Full DOCSIS 3.0-based functionality via the Arris Integrated.CMTS (I-CMTS) model: The I-CMTS architecture provides independent downstream and upstream scalability and full DOCSIS 3.0 functionality within a single chassis. This architecture delivers the same high-availability and ease-of-operation currently being offered while substantially increasing density and scalability.

Full DOCSIS 3.0-based functionality via the Modular CMTS (M-CMTS) model:

• The M-CMTS architecture uses the DOCSIS MAC processing and Gigabit Ethernet ports of the C4 CMTS and enables downstream growth through external M-CMTS-compliant edge QAMs. The ARRIS Keystone™ D5™ DMTS external Edge QAM delivers full compliance with the original NGNA vision, including this optional disaggregated M-CMTS architecture.
